The Garden, the Microbiome, and the Art of Growing Your Own

At the 2024 Chelsea Flower Show, the Microbiome Garden by Chris Hull and Sid Hill captured an emerging theme in horticulture: the profound link between gut health, the way we plant our gardens and eat its produce. This innovative garden showcased a selection of partly edible plants, reinforcing the idea that cultivating the right environment can influence well-being.

Research continues to reveal the role of the microbiome in mood regulation and overall health, with nearly 90% of serotonin (a key neurotransmitter) being produced in the gut. By integrating herbs, fruiting plants, and edible perennials into our gardens, we can create landscapes that are not only visually stunning but also contribute to a more mindful, health-conscious way of living.

At Atelier Grangeon, we believe that a garden should be more than a beautiful space—it should be an extension of well-being, creativity, and sustainability. Whether you envision an elegant potager, a structured edible garden, or a sensory retreat, we can help bring that vision to life. We currently have availability for new customers.
